The sliding door lock developed by Willach Vitris is characterised by patent-pending design principles and the highest quality: all essential materials come from Europe and are assembled at Willach's headquarters in Germany.
The
lock
is
suitable
for
both
Portavant
sliding
doors
and
Atrivant
patio
glazing:
- for single-sided Portavant systems in conjunction with a stop/locking box
- for single-sided Atrivant systems in conjunction with wall profile and striking plate
- for double-sided Portavant or Atrivant systems with matching counter box
- and for other sliding doors
Coloured covers allow the lock to match the colour of your Portavant and Atrivant systems. The basic housing is always made of anodised aluminium. Use the sliding door lock with the handle insert or without, depending on your requirements.
Thanks to the usability of exchangeable cylinders, the lock can be easily integrated into your locking system and can therefore also be used with toilet rotary handle locks. It can also be combined with electronic locking systems, provided they have the dimensions of the authorised standard exchangeable cylinders.
In
Atrivant
systems
with
protruding
locking
cylinders,
a
stop
buffer
that
can
be
placed
on
the
exchangeable
cylinder
prevents
damage
to
the
glass
of
the
neighbouring
door
leaf.
Intelligent
design
principles
ensure
a
high
level
of
burglary
protection.
The
locking
bolt
cannot
be
manipulated
from
the
outside
when
locked.
Even
when
open,
the
locking
bolt
is
firmly
locked
in
place
and
therefore
cannot
be
swivelled
down
unintentionally
by
shaking
or
pushing.
Thanks
to
the
impressive
lifting
movement
of
the
lock,
a
vertical
overlap
of
up
to
13
mm
is
achieved
between
the
deadbolt
and
the
strike
plate.
Thanks
to
an
intelligent
design,
the
deadbolt
can
be
adjusted
to
two
different
horizontal
distances
between
the
latch
and
the
glass
edge.
The
deadbolt
has
a
deadbolt
extension
that
can
be
removed
if
necessary.
This
makes
the
lock
flexible
to
use.
With
Portavant,
the
lock
is
used
with
a
lock
bolt
extension
(10
mm
distance
between
lock
bolt
and
glass
edge). When
used
with
Atrivant,
the
lock
bolt
extension
must
be
removed
(17
mm
gap).
The lock is suitable for glass thicknesses of 8 / 8.76 / 10 / 10.76 / 12 / 12.76 mm. The set includes interchangeable glass inserts to adapt to different glass thicknesses. The lock is always mounted symmetrically on the pane and the locking bolt swings out symmetrically to the centre plane of the glass pane. The sturdy stainless steel locking bolt is only 4 mm thick and therefore fits into many installation situations, while a clever glass cut-out and excellent clamping on the glass prevent the lock from being pulled out of the glass cut-out from the side.
In
conjunction
with
the
Atrivant
wall
profile,
the
lock
is
set
back
from
the
edge
of
the
glass
so
that
the
pane
can
sink
deep
into
the
wall
profile,
thus
reducing
draughts.
A
customised
glass
cut-out
is
therefore
used
with
Atrivant
in
conjunction
with
the
wall
profile.
